CSO Architects, Inc The individual resides in the past. The collective community is the future of humanity. The more we become part of the collective community, the more modern we will be. René is a native of Mexico. He received his degree in Architecture from the Universidad de Guanajuato and is a registered architect in Mexico. René has worked for architectural firms in Mexico, Santa Fe, New Mexico and Indianapolis, Indiana. In Mexico and New Mexico, René worked primarily on residential and historic preservation projects. Since moving to Indiana, he has complemented his professional experience by working for architectural firms focused on the design and construction of higher education and research facilities, K-12 buildings, and commercial buildings.
In addition to volunteering for AFH, René also volunteers for the ACE Mentor Program and the META program, a workshop geared toward educating Latino and Hispanic high school students about post-secondary educational opportunities. René is also a member of Somos Un Pueblo Unido, a non-profit organization that works toward building a community that does not discriminate against people based on their national origin, institutes humane immigration policies, and protects the human rights of everyone irrespective of where they are born or what documents they carry.
