Bus Shelter Project

 

Martindale-Brightwood Neighbor will be the “Targeted” location for Bus Shelters

First Step of project will be to complete detailed SITE SURVEY incorporating the following tasks:

 

·         Base Map of Neighborhood, Bus Routes, Bus Stops and walking radii (Michael)

·         Identify current Bus Shelter locations (Toni Grimes)


 
Contact IndyGo/DMD Indianapolis:  (Anna Waggoner)
Census of Ridership?
Ridership per route?
Cost of existing shelters

·         Identify Amenities/Shared Facilities (ChunSheh Teo)

 

·         Locate walking paths on Google Earth (Rene Martinez)

 

·         Photo Study of Bus Ridership/Shelter usage ( Marco & Carmen)

 

·         Historical/Precedence Study (Janette) Past Projects Boston, Paris, London, etc.

 

Investigation work above needs to be completed by August 1, 2009 so that
we may proceed with the next step.
